John Carter brings with him 40 years of RICS Valuation experience gained at the Valuation Office, Grimly & Son (now GVA Grimley), as development director of Allied Suppliers (now Wm Morrison), and Hawkvalley Properties.

John’s particular expertise is in the assembly of large development sites, which requires a thorough understanding of the existing use values of the component parts of the development, and the overall viability picture. John researches and rigorously documents comparable transactions and other influencing factors in order to justify the highest Benchmark Land Value for your site. This is a key part of viability reporting, as the National Planning Guidance requires that an essential part of every viability study is to identify the existing or alternate use of the land.
